Hey guys,
Looking at buying a Tomo Vader but would like some advice on what size to buy. I'm 6'2'" tall and weigh 98kg. I'm an intermediate/advance surfer.
If anyone has ridden one I'd like to hear what you think

A reasonably lengthy discussion earlier this year.

I didn't finish up buying one partly because they seem a little too high performance for an injured ankle I have that restricts tight radius turns, partly because the construction freaks me out for my backyard repairs.

Up north this year I saw a couple of guys riding them. They appeared fast down the line, but a little weird off the top. Of course how they look to an observer and how they feel to the surfer are often two completely different things and surfing is all about the feel unless you are a comp surfer.

5'9 - 5'11 will cover you nicely. Go the smaller one if you using it in good waves and / or surf pretty good - if an all-rounder go the size bigger. You want less than more volume with these boards - they paddle well. I reckon the Evo's are a better board as an all-rounder though with a reasonable wave range. These boards are loads of fun. Very very quick from A to B.
