Heard that a jetty broke with 28 boats attached to it and ended up on a rock wall near port bouvard

yep, that last photo is one end of the jetty, it ended up over the other side of the marina. The one above that pic is inside the cut at the ocean end, almost a rideable wave going through the cut!!

Was down in front of the Tea Rooms at Cott. Got some footage of the carnage there but when I got home around 3pm no power! Still no power when I got up this morning so will post some vid later tonight.

well that's just not fair.... i eagerly clicked the video thinking "going off" meant sand dredging barrels or massive walls holding up for a good carving in amongst some serious onshores. i was disappointed - a very familiar feeling for the perth surfer, i suppose.
