took the groms to one of my favourite spots today and was confronted with this, older one asked what it said, then when it was briefly explained the next question was "why would someone do that?". Any helpful hints??
They can have locals only, no worries. But if they were to surf any other break other than that one, then they're hypocrites really.
I 'love' how the bra boys are all locals only, then go and surf every other place they come across too. Luckily, the punks who wrote it probably weigh only 60 - 70kg, so just flatten them!
Being new years a day or so ago - you'd think it was piss fueled mucking around .... were there any troublemakers around in person Bakesy???? (just mo)
have a good idea who wrote it and will chat with them, localism is ok with me if it means we look after the place (keep it pristine, no burnouts, put out fires, treat people with respect and support each other in good times and bad) rather than express bad vibes to everyone we don't know. I might be dreaming but I see others down here doing it.
no Pup, just a few visitors who were staying in the 8 storey blight on the landscape 50m from this beautiful place!!! (not sure where these "locals" where at when we tried to stop it, managed to stop another one going up down the road)

I'm not sure where I stand with localism Agreed writing graffiti like this doesn't do much but sometimes a more confronting approach is a better idea I personally think a lot of people travel with little or no respect Think the Sth West of WA During tourist season there are camp fires, **** and toilet paper everywhere, rubbish, broken beer bottles all in the beach areas. Around where children normally play On the roads there are all the usual hassles that city people usually experience and country people avoid As for the surf You will have half the lineup paddling for the one wave and six people taking off There's drop ins, people getting run over, surf spots too crowded to surf Yes locals have to be patient but tourists should show more respect And people get upset when there's repercussions Wake up to yourselves If I was to go anywhere and behave like this I'd expect to get belted
