Don't know about others but I'm not losing any sleep! Actually, to be truthful, I'll sleep a little easier knowing there's less!

even if true,, study location, South Africa,,, so they migrated west for a little while during the 'study'.
some of Scroobanuts mates trying to justify their seed funding, tourism funding, or simply advertising.

worldwide population of great whites is greater than 10000 I have no scientific evidence to support this although my paranoia suggests numbers closer to 1000000000000000 when surfing near esperance, if in indonesia my paranoia reduces global numbers to 1 or two. That is science

My 2cents, that dataset, 532 sharks photographed from a single tourist boat would be better used on a study of habitualization by tourist boats than an estimation of world numbers O

But then I would just be pushing my agenda and that would be morally wrong wouldn't it.
