New to this forum and although I know most peoples view of Surftech is negative I was hoping for some info on the new TLPC construction. I already have a couple poly boards and I am looking for a tough and light board for travel. I can get a really good deal on a TLPC (tough lite pro carbon) Surftech almost half price. I have tried an old tuflite before and found it had no flex and super corky. This (new) construction is supposed to offer more flex because of carbon inserts but I am very skeptical. Unfortunately I would be buying it online so no chance to test it out and no shops in the area. I priced it out and it is actually cheaper than getting a custom done with shipping. Has anyone tried this new TLPC version? Does it have more flex or is it just more marketing hype? Thanks
