Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about getting a new board, something around 6'4" but with a little bit more volume than normal shortboard, was looking at the Al Merrick Flyer etc.

Problem is no one seems to have demos available in Perth? Not even for the popouts, heaps of demos available over east but none here.

Any ideas, or do I just have to deal with it?

Thanks
Matt

Will check them out, thanks.

Already asked a few and havn't had too much luck so far but will keep looking.

Just seems strange compared to kitesurfing where you can try almost anything,

Thanks
Matt

Ive got a 6-8 Flyer new 2 months ago, I'm 6-5 95kg, 25yeras surfing, best board in small to mid surf I've had. LOVE the volume. Every Flyer rider will tell you the same. Go a tiny bit shorter than normal board but much wider and the thing is unreal.

Hey Matt,

I have a 6'5" Treehouse Quad Egg that I'd be happy to give you a go on. This is the board I got specifically for Perth waves and its been great.

Send me a PM if you're keen.

Cheers,
Chris

Longboards Scarborough usually have a few demo boards at any given time but it is hard if some one wants to try a particular board in a particular size. Take Al Merrick for example he might do 5 or 6 models and each may have 5 or 6 sizes, thats a lot of different boards.
Rather than the stock standards which most people may be able to borrow off there mates, we try to demo the more unusual and change them over reasonably often.
At the moment have some fish, some mals and have a crazy looking 8' Meyerhoffer to demo soon.
