Im not looking at anything to major, but im just wondering if anyone has any suggestions when im using solez in small jobs, it seems almost impossible to get it the first time with out a small air bubble in at least one spot. I try and fill it from top to bottom, have tried the other way also but no matter how i do it it always has a small bubble

I do also use clear plastic and put that over the repair as it makes for less sanding, could that be causing my issue

Any tips would be appreciated..

Get a pin and give it a stab/wiggle, that has worked for me before.

Apart from temporary fixes up north I have given up on it and go old school resin and glass. Much better bond and no air bubbles.

Thanks for the help. All sorted.

It was only a small split after hitting the bottom. Maybe 20mm long and a few mm thick. Scraped out the glass and filled.

Anything bigger is a professional job.
