over rated in my experience. joint is a bit dodgy and a bit of a dirty old place. Better waves around also. Id look for a land camp back down in the Ments somewhere

remote, with good chance of flight cancellations due to weather
we went to Aura, underwhelming for Indo, creek near by flows into the break, muddy water with trees and debris floating through the break
one reasonable right a boat trip away
all others are short slabby waves not the long into walls of other indo areas

highlight was being treated as a rockstar at Medan airport , locals apparently hadn't seen a long blondish haired lout with reflecto oakleys, numerous requests to have my photo taken with them, including habibed grannies , hilarious

much better spots imho

g land shoulder season, at least 7 waves, camps tired, but so easy to get to and waves fantastic
