There was a paper releases in Feb this year that extensively analyzed the mechanics of shark attacks. They proposed that colour and patterns have absolutely no effect on the likely hood of a prey item to be targeted and they tested this quite a bit in South Africa.

If a shark is going to attack you with speed from below, chances are its only going to make out a silhouette anyway.

There's also the small fact that Whiteys roll their eyes back into their head prior to chomping down as well, so are probably more likely to taste your camo sticker before they see it....

I just wanted to clear up a few points in this discussion.

I am the inventor of Sharkcamo.

I am also a surfer in the ocean known for Great White Shark fatalities.

Central and Northern California.

We have never had our graphic fail in any test that has ever been conducted. That includes testing at Seal Island RSA (kill zones only) and Ningaloo Reef WA (baited testing). All test were conducted by unbiased shark experts or Marine Biologist from different locations around the world.

Our product has been in the water for over 14 years. No bumps, no bites, no aggresssive behavior toward any user in any ocean conditon.

I can only hope my fellow surfers understand this concept is based on the laws of Mother Nature. Not some scientific BS.

Thanks for your time.

I'll take the evidence provided by scientifically designed and statistically sound experiments over the claims of a person pushing his product. No offence.

I've been surfing since I was a kid and our waters are arguably worse than yours as far as shark encounters are concerned. I've never been bitten or aggressively nudged by a white shark. I don't where a wetsuit either...so by your analytic methods, that MUST be the reason why I haven't been eaten yet.

Skin coloured wetsuits, coming to a store near you. **** science bitches.

PS: You realise the laws of mother nature obey and science are the same thing, right?
