I was just reading an article on the Shark camo sticker.

Does anyone on here know if this theory has any credibility. I've also heard of guys painting large eyes on the bottom of their boards with the hope that sharks usually use the element of surprise to attack and on the slim chance that they notice the eyes might feel like their being watched.

A paper was released in Feb this year analyzing white shark predation mechanics. Patterns were tested and were statistically shown to make no difference. Targets are usually silloutted on the surface and white sharks are blind in the moments before the impact (eyes roll backwards for protection).

Great idea to make some money though, lots of gullible emotional surfers out there that will buy them

I have put a big pic of Gina on the bottom of my board I have found it has stopped GWS trying to root me
