Question ? is shark cage diving teaching G.W's to look at us as a food source (not sauce).Does the cage diving industry in Sth Aust. have an influence on G.W'S traveling up the west coast following the whales and attacking floating seal like shapes on the surface ?

Considering that GWS are migratory and appear to exhibit complex behaviour associated with long-term memory/intelligence, there may indeed be reason for concern. Similar to the well-documented problems associated with feeding bears (or any large wild animal/carnivore), cage diving may well be causing increased and undesirable human-GWS interactions far from the initial controlled encounter.
I should emphasize, however, that given the speculative nature of my comments, it would be uncalled for to criticise the people working hard and running a diving business that otherwise has ample merit.
P.S. Perhaps I am naive, but could these diving businesses receive government funding to tag the sharks that have been attracted to the cages/humans?
