I HEARD they canned the whole thing in fear that people would use the information on their to hunt the sharks. No idea how true that is though

Surf life saving was putting the info up on FB and twitter. So the info was just really second hand on Shark Alarm. The reason he first started it was to help get the reports out to the public. Now Shark alarm has dropped of sadly Surf life saving said its too much work to update FB so they only update on Twitter

They still wont give any other info like if its one shark or multiple sharks.
