.... anybody tried/got one? $120 for a short arm steamer makes me think they are absolute tat. Would love somebody to confirm or deny.

Never seen these but you get what you pay for with wetties. No exceptions

Mitchbat I always wear Rip Curl but thought for a 2/2 for summer it might be OK. I've heard of Sanctum boards - they are just pop out copies from Asia.

Scrored a springy off them for $40 with postage & 10 blocks of wax 5 winter & 5 tropical for $10 last June. Used the wettie heaps & had no problems, dunno about their steamers. I'd recommend an Xcel for a steamer if your in Vic. I've never felt cold in mine & it has awesome stretch

Really Tux? Where is the Rip Curl seconds joint as I would be all over that. I'll be over your side next week as well.

Just bought one yesterday, still being delivered. I have had boards, board bags and a whole bunch of other gear from them (they look after me pretty well) and I have no reason to complain. Sure, it's not rip curl quality or anything of that standard but I am happy for the price. I will let you know how I go with this new wettie when it arrives.

Thanks Tom. Did you get it through eBay or direct from their site? The short arm wetties are $70 cheaper through buy it now on eBay for some reason?

Got my 3/2 short arm today from them, I am more than confident it will last the summer surfing in it ( a grom going at least twice a day flat out ). Quality was great on mine, only faults would be one seam placement behind the knee (just a bad spot for a seam) and the liquid taping is maybe a bit thin. But for 100 buck I am not complaining. Same insides (all the thermo panels and lining ) as my billabong revolution and just as warm.

Keen to try it out and for 100 bucks, you really can't go wrong.

Tom.
