It's a lovely place, excellent if you are taking your partner as well.
The wave out front was relatively fun on smaller days and pretty full-on on the larger days. The reef is shallow and sharp. It's not your dreamy makeable barrel like what indo offers. There are definitely hollow waves there but I think the swell has to have a lot of west in it for the right to be makeable.
Great fishing and snorkelling as well, and it's a nice drive around the island.
If you are looking to score good waves Indo is always the answer.
Been twice, hit and miss. Can get great waves, or long spells with none. Do research on winds/swell to suit your comfort zone. can get really big. They don't call it skin grafts at Aganoa for no reason. A lot of waves only accessible by boat. Check with the crew at Sa'Moana
