International Surfing Day (ISD) was originally created by the Surfrider Foundation to both celebrate the sport of surfing, and to give something back to the oceans, waves and beaches that give us all so much! This ISD your local Perth Chapter of Surfrider is hosting a film night with an array of local and international surf films. Come & get amongst it tonight down at City Beach Surf Club!
☼ Guest speaker: The legendary local surfer and shaper Len Dibbens (Lendibben surfboards) will be guest speaking at the event! Yeww!
☼ Live music: Local surfriders Steve Andrews & Malachy O'Connor will be drumming up some tunes throughout the evening.
☼ Food: Simply Paella will be cooking up some serious deliciousness earlier in the night for din dins so save your appetite!
☼ Prizes & merch: There will be an epic door prize, a raffle, heaps of cool stuff to both win and buy!
☼ Entry is by donation. whatever you can (suggested $10).
☼ Films featured: Out There & Lost Prophets-search for the collective - two amazing films that looks at surfing and our connection to the ocean, plus various films from LOCAL folks like Darran McCagh (Spektrum) and Russel Ord, including local footage from from XXL Big wave awards.
