Heading off overseas with a new Hyfi board.
Given this is a composite board, can anyone help with what repair kit I will need please?

Buy an epoxy one when you get there.

How serious?

240, 400, 800 grit wet paper. 1.5-2mm clear vinyl (200x200mm), a bit of 4oz glass if you're expecting carnage, and 2-pack epoxy.
And scissors.

Just concerned about the composite construction, so whether to use PU or epoxy repair ...

I always buy duorez, its does both...ordered a big tube last week off ebay for an upcoming trip to Bali for about $18 delivered, its like solarez but does both PU & epoxy & cures less rubbery. I just take that & some medium sandpaper. Anything bigger, like a fin box, fin chop or needing more than a tube of duorez & I get a local bloke to fix it. But if your going somewhere without that option I'd take what Buster suggested.
