My (surfboard not windsurfboard as in pic) deck grip is peeling off on corners and edges
Heard superglue can be used to stick it back down

Is this true or will it affect my board?
Whats best to stick it back down without messing up a new board, what do you do?

Cheers in advance for any hints

If ya put a dob between ur fingers and hold together for 15 secs u'll need someone else to help ya get em apart. Have fun

Cheers for the tips

So none of this stuff eats either the board or the deck?

Also heard you can get the 3M tape to re-do it (guess thats exactly what was on it originally but maybe my glue was old/off/reduced stickiness?

Glue it,don't bother with tape, it won't eat your board or grip, maybe your shin

You could always rip it all off, sand off the old glue and put brand new grip on!!!!

Kwik grip 3rded. Done it on several boards, works better than the original glue and no more peeling problems.

I've used plain old clear silicon sealant in the past. Best part is, if any that oozes out it just dries clear and is not noticable

Yeah,my hand is up for kwikgrip,BUT,make sure your grip is really dry and follow the instructions letting it go sticky before putting the 2 surfaces together, then let it cure for 24hrs,

if the grip is only four weeks old it sounds like you mightnt have cleaned the board surface before out stuck it down?

the same thing happened to my grip because i didnt wipe the shop dust off before putting the grip on and i used kwik grip and its awesome.

u can trace the outline of the lifted grip with a pencill onto the deck so that way u can see where to apply the glue and u wont go over.
