any1 got some secomd hand board straps they want to get rid of?? only need them for a 3 hour trip so dont really want to buy new ones

Graceful,go to your nearest car tyre shop,ask for a couple of used inner tubes from the pile on the floor.Proceed to cut them into Calamari type rings 25mm wide,a couple of tubes should do it .Now join them by just looping them together and pulling them tight .Throw the board on the racks,double the twanger over the board and inter lock the loops,you'll get the hang of it after a few goes. there you have the cheapest tie downs on the planet. If you want extra heavy duty tie downs use truck tubes
