Give them a miss. Had nothing but dramas with the crap wetties. Mine was a chest zip which i got 2 months before seal lining perished and come apart.returned.then 2 months stitching came apart. Wanted new one which was still under replacement with no question asked guarantee but was given the repaired return now another 3 months later shoulder neoprene has perished. $430?

Got a cheapish one through Quicksilver online, runout stock ($200) from memory..it's been good so far into its third season no issues but the shoulder neoprene is just starting to get that yellow look just before it perishes.....I wash mine out after every use

Thanks for the reply. Is this a recent one or have you had it a while?

Check out Derevko wetsuits...I bit the bullet and bought on on a wim last year
Chest zip..warm..surfed it 2-3 times a week through winter (May to Oct)...in its second year this year..still in good condition.
Will get this year out of it, might replace it next.

I've always been a rip curl wetty fan. My current one is 2 years old and like new still. I just got a dawn patrol back zip (struggle getting in and out of chest zips) and for $290 I'd definitely buy one again. My 2 previous rip curls lasted 5 and 4 years respectively. One I grew out of, and the other I popped a stitch and didn't repair it, resulting in a massive rip over my ass crack.

My current ripcurl suit is in it's 4th winter and only just starting to show its age.

And I don't look after it the best either...

Been really happy with it.

If you can hold off for a few more months, the end of season sales mean you could pick up a well priced suit locally.

I had one. It did not last - chest zip ripped. They replaced it with a new one straight away. Very flexible suit but not the warmest. I have worn the new one just a few times. What size are you? I think mine is a large. You can have it very cheap if you like as I do not need a wettie any more these days. Will be back in Aus in a few weeks and can send it to ya. Send me a PM if u interested.
