Planning to sail my boat north to Whitsundays latter in the year. I have heard there are surfable breaks on some of the Central Queensland reefs. Can anyone tell me which reefs to check out ?

You'll need to head a fair way north and out b4 anything will break .

1770 is the town up north which has outer reefs 40 nmiles out cranking lefts, my friends skippa has been windsurfing and surfing them for decades ive been told.

Part of surfing is the search the adventure to may want it given to them on a plate
I dont know you but respect you

Part of surfing is discovering and adventure. YOur sailing so you should know how to read charts start there. Ive been surfing and sailing the area for 20 something years Im not telling either. its no fun if you just get it given to you on a plate. Seek you will find especially if you deserve to.
sorry if you think this is negative, but if your a real surfer you'll understand
