I read that this morning on FB. Pretty sad idea but i'd guess its not that new

I've seen loosely similar things happen when there was a decent sandbank at a certain spot in Bali. Thankfully for us we've made enough good local friends there over the countless visits that the Javanese guy making the threats was promptly dealt with.

This 5hit happens in Lembongan quite a lot too.

It is just part of the reason why I try to forge good relationships with the locals on land so they will recognise me in the water.

It's all bull5hit though and should never happen.

Nusa Lembongan is a circus these days unless your there when there's a high tide on sunrise & sunset....Worst I've had is guides pretending like they're going to catch the wave & then letting their client drop-in on them & go. I just tend to look at the guide & ask him if he's going when a set comes. But then I'm happy to catch the smaller to medium sized waves too. They actually break better than the sets at certain places coz they're hitting a shallower section

Ouch pretty ****ed up situation...

Really i was going to head to nusa lembogan next month, im going over 12-21, spending the first 3 nights @ bingin!!! the rest i will book over there... im taking the wife so gland is pretty much out of the question!! and ive already been there this year!! Was looking foward to lembogan herd preety good reports from mates etc...
