Thanks mate... Really fickle wave, you wouldn't travel 3hrs plus to check to see if its working. I lived 2 mins away for 8 years & had some great sessions there. But your better off heading down South for a variety of options (winds) & waves that work under 2.5m swell : )

I've been there a dozen times and never seen anyone on it - but have wondered if it was surfable... I tend to surf the other breaks a little to the south. Thanks for posting.

yep he's good like that! He's on to his own 5" 5 gun now and doesn't need Dad to help him The four year old stood up for the first time a couple of days ago so I wasn't redundant for long

Loved the Videos. especially the kids. Its good to see they are all like magnets and all end on top of each other in the surf

My daughter is surf mad. Even this morning after coming home she was not impressed to not have been included. My son sadly is instant he wants to still lay down, (which is a huge shame as he is a good surfer and has natural balance)[}:)] But either way they all end up hitting each other almost, paddling back out in front of each other, no matter how many times to tell them not too

I have videoed loads but i struggle getting it into any sort of video with any level of quality[}:)] Thanks Bakesy you've given me another rev up to give it a go..

this summer has really been one for the groms and the standard of surfing from the micro's has been astonishing to me! We have at least a dozen of them between 4 and 10 that are on a steep learning curve this summer, could see a generation of champs from the mandurah area in the future, a couple of them (not my boys) are truly amazing for their age, just need a wave that's not too gnarly and doesn't close out to help them step up.

Nice vid of where I used to hang out for 4 lovely years whilst at Uni dmitri. You could see my fiancé's old place in that vid! Shame you did not get a decent swell whilst you were there. How good is a low tide session at the Valley when its on - heaven!!
