He guys,

I'm just wondering what and if there is a good method for removing paint off a board.

I have found a board I want but it's been sprayed and honestly don't like it.

This is the board. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried searching for previous threads on this but on a phone it's very annoying.

Cheers,

Mitch

If its acrylic it should come off with thinners. Be careful check a small spot first, being epoxy it should be ok tho.

that board will never be stolen with that paint job. You won't get away with snaking or dropping in either....

Do not use thinners on your board! If you can't live with the colour, get a professional board restorer to give you a quote. Unless you are skilled with resins etc, I would just accept it. I can only see you wrecking your board if you try to remove the colour.

Just had some black stripes removed from the bottom of a mal I bought. Took it to the ding guy as the board was damaged in transit. For an extra 50 bucks he sanded them off and said he would sand off with 800 then 1200 grit.

I'm no expert that's just what he said to me.
