Watching those old boards get ridden like that make me realize how far surfing has progressed. Go back 35 years and I'm pretty sure even the best surfers in the world ware surfing those boards that well.

I have a few from the 2011 comp but I only photographed a couple of single fin logs this year.

There was a few grom heats,these little guys were doing laybacks floaters on boards made x four times their age.
