Gday all, heading to Noosa in February next year with the misses and a three year old and am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of accomodation options. Anyone got any recommendations within 30 mins of surf? Prefer self contained/Air bnb over hotels and maybe somewhere away from the main hot spots.

Stayed there just over a year ago at Noosaville .Just out of Noosa right on the river.
Great place, nice and quiet and great for the little one to swim in the river.
Only about 10 mins from Noosa and a fair bit cheaper.
Has to be my favourite town in Oz.

Last time we stayed over in Sunshine beach which was pretty sweet cheap...usually a few waves and you can stroll through teh national park to get to Noosa or catch a bus

We have been going there for years and our pic is the Islander at Noosaville, right next to the river, good pools and plenty of places to eat close by. if out of school holidays is very quite.

Noosaville is a great option, walk along the river in the morning, short trip to all the Hastings St hooha!

We've also stayed at little Cove a couple of times on a relatively modest budget, top spot.
