I just ordered my Burton but need help with the colour. I need to confirm it today or tomorrow at the latest.

I've gone for a ski blue ish rails and a lighter blue over all deck but i can't decide on the bottom. Murray thinks all over blue but i liked the idea of traditional white.

Really hate making decision's like this so anyone have any ideas on what they think would be great

Full colour bottom or white

Will probably go with a white tail pad.

Electric blue with white and dark blue fades looks pretty sick, or totally off blue pea green with a bold outine actually can look good to. Hope ur new board goes good.

White bottom I recon, it will break up the colour. Single colour boards look funny unless it has a spray of some type imo

Make sure you leave it to cure,just saying!

Go white with black rails or lime green rails,hell go for a rail spray.

Don't leave the bottom white or when it goes brown it looks even worse than a normal all white board.

Go the same color as deck and have a board that looks new for years.

My favourite board has superman red rails and blue deck and bottom. I love it. The other is full all over green.

Yeah i saw that. Its for stock boards and Murray is making a few subtle changes for me and with any colour its more as well. I did think long and hard but have gone the extra coin.

I have decided on white bottom. Murray also said he doesn't like the yellowing after time but for me i do like the classic look a little. So guess now just have to wait. Although he recons he'll start shaping it today or tomorrow Must be quiet

We did talk a little about materials. To be honest I'm not 100% sure. I spoke with Chris and about heavier (6) all over but i think Murray and i decided on 6 and 4 but honestly i was getting a little lost at that point, was more worried about colour He talked a little about 4 and 6 not blending together but as i said i got lost But he'll figure that out.

I guess it will be the first of a few boards so I'm going a little on his advice as well. I'm not hard core surfer in huge surf, but i might try and change my duck diving habit to my foot not knee (especially after looking at my 6 month old Super fish)

It sounds funny but i cant name many things I've ever had to wait for, so three weeks, its a good life lesson as well..

go some old school pin lines(2-3 ?) along the rail curve to separate the the rail colour from the deck ......black/red etc or whatever matches the spray
apparently they make em go faster too
just like racing air in the tyres!!

jbs mine was glassed 6x6x4 and mine doesnt dent now its cured
