Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has any info on how much it rains during August. I'm more than happy to surf all day in the rain :) But keen to take my missus, however, it's the peak wet season and I don't think she'd be impressed spending $3K on a holiday that rains the whole time.

Cheers in advance for any info.

Google knows everything.

Whether it rains or not mate , there is a high chance she isn't going to like a surfing holiday anyway.
Your screwed either way - just go, and enjoy yourself

Thanks mate. Google was my first port of call when researching. I noticed how much rain they get in August so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone had an actual experience to tell me about. Cheers anyway.

The rain tends to come as showers anyway
It can be raining and then sunny and perfect in half an hour
Cannot have a bad time there-your partner will love it

Thanks for sharing your experience there guys. A few mates also said it's a great place. Looking at Lohi's. But after seeing how much it rains I've been tossing up changing my plans to Mauritius, which has great surfing and windsurfing. We get good wind in Oz though, so surfing some perfect, uncrowded waves for 10 days in Maldives sounds pretty tempting.
