Tossing up between the two. Have heard the little Marley is a little heavy. Anyone tried both yet? I'm looking at the 5'10 MF (44L) or the 6'0 Ripper (40L) I want it for myself and 10 year old kid. So will be going with plenty of volume.

Have ridden heaps of softboards - odysea / mf / softlite / gnaraloo / softech

LIttle marley MF is my pick - its my **** wave small wave weak wave board - 40L is pretty hefty - but depends who is using it I guess

Given foamy's aren't gonna be super responsive and sharp - you pretty much choose a road/ line and a few pumps. MF boards seem to do that.

Interestingly softech also appears to do epoxy core wrapped in cloth the same as MF. Previously they were squishy bend boards with unintentional flex.

The 6'0 odysea log is a very good choice
Very high volume, point and shoot

Yes Little Marley is a touch heavier and beefier but has a more robust feel to its construction. I suspect that all the MF boards have more volume than that stated, side by side it looks a lot chunkier the the Lil Ripper. I think the Lil Ripper may be more responsive with the thinner rails and lighter weight. Both look fun.
