A mate just told me that the council has buried a whale that washed up at one of the local beaches instead of getting ride of the carcass.
Units. I understand if it's an area which isn't easy to access.
Not a great time of year to have plenty of oil soaking through the sand into the bays.
Thanks council.

That's the way it's been done for decades. Sometimes they tow them out but the keep washing back in. What's your suggestion?

And yes, it's not ideal.

Cut it up and move it. Give it to the Japs. Move in some ants. anything but let it leach into the ocean and give the men in grey suits a bit of a stir up.

I always figured they should tow them out and sink them. It's doable. Even the BBC managed it for a doco.

10 mile????
10 mile is no where near far enough offshore.
If you're from Perth 10 mile is barely to Rotto and I'd be f#cked if I'd want chunks of whale floating around that close to the coast.

Yep surf regularly down south chrspychru that's why I'm posting about sharks. People keep saying they'd rather die in a car, I wonder if anyone that's ever been attacked by a shark and nearly killed would say the same? Rather than people who haven't.

From what I read...people say that they would rather die(taken by shark) doing a pastime that gives them pleasure ,rather than die in a car crash.

More attacks in the metro area, don't use the down south line, F**kin over it, we have a few sightings around here but majority of attacks are up there, cottesloe, rotto, wedge, mullaloo.......

dont know mate..lets ask a car crash victim and a shark attack victim who is happier that they are alive... imo i would rather be killed by a random chance that a shark ate me while i was having a surf(i would not be very stoked) than being randomly killed by some ****wit drunk driver that should know better...in my opinion mate

Taken from the Family Relationship website (the first one that popped up on google)

Each year in Australia approximately 3,100 people die as a result of excessive alcohol consumption and around 72,000 people are hospitalised2. Alcohol misuse includes binge drinking, daily excess or risk taking while intoxicated.

Lets worry about that little fact Totally preventable as well[}:)]

If you wanna crusade make it a worth while one

Sometimes, amongst the pile of steaming excrement that is posted on this forum (I am well and truly guilty of contributing to this) there is a post that is a Gold Watch. This post is, in my humble uninformed opinion, a 24 Carat Gold Watch that was shelved in Grandfathers colon during his incarceration at the hands of the Germans during WW1 and when he escaped he passed the 24 Carat Gold Watch to his son who passed the rare and precious 24 Carat Gold Watch down through subsequent generations. In other words smart and insightful post jbshack. If I had a 24 Carat Gold Watch, I would shelve it with a note that bestows the Watch to you in the event that I am nibbled by a shark and someone recovers my colon.
