You guys! It's like you're armed with buckets of raw sea salt... joyously rubbing it in.

Rode my mal somewhere between trigg and Floreat....... uncrowded total barrel fest.... banks are looking as good as last year..
I pity anyone who worked today or yesterday.......... weekend storm imminent

Agree on the pity front as it was cooking the last 48 hours.

why you riding the mal raz?

Why do I ride the mal, interesting question, I like riding inappropriate boards for the conditions..
It paddles like a dream and no one really puts them in tubes but that's exactly what they seem to be good for..

Don't feel so bad IFocus, I'd be out there making a pig of myself if the roles were reversed.

Yeah me too, at least its giving mates some thing to laugh about my misfortune,

I had been taking photos after I got out of the water and sending it to their work asking how their day was going

They've taken the Cott. beach cam off the SLSWA site so you can't do a quick surf check before doing the arduous drive !!

From 7-8 there was a few crew but manageable and decent pulse, round 8 or so it dropped a bit in size and a few more humans paddled out at the same time... so it felt like the crowds doubled and the waves halved as well
Initial calculations ( per bank)
5 x humans x 10 waves every 10 minutes = 2 waves per human every ten minutes with a factor of 30% missed equals 1.4 waves per human every ten minutes = 1.4x 6 lots of ten minutes= 8.4 waves per human per hour......

Post 8 am

10x humans x5 waves every ten minutes=.5 of a wave per human every ten minutes 30% missed .35 of a wave per human every ten minutes= 3.5 waves or something per hour....

Today was cleaner and better shape than yesterday, but yesterday had more size. Next few days will move everything around again.
