Hi,

Was given this board for free and would like some advice on how to repair this large hole myself. I'm a complete beginner so just happy to repair the board myself and learn how to ride then get myself a new one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Dimensions of hole are 5cm x 9.5cm x 5cm deep. It's on the under side of the board.

Can you put up a pic of the whole board so we can see where the damage is? Then the experts will have a better idea of how to repair it.

Looks like a board that "Pablo Escoba" used to own

Good luck with the repair

Carefully scrape out all of the wax that is in the hole, get a piece of board foam roughly the same shape, a bit smaller obviously, mix up some POLYESTER resin and q-cell and apply as necessary. you may need to do two mixes. Better too little than too much. Sand back to perfection.
