Whatever you do don't stay at American Andy's.
The biggest twat I've ever met in Indo. Everything that's annoying about seppoes, he this and a hell of a lot more.
Id be surprised if he's still alive.
On another note. If your going to Bemo it in from the airport at Bandar Lampung take some car sickness tablets. Lots of winding roads, hills etc.
The first time I've seen the Indo backup driver spew his guts up through motion sickness.

Yeah I heard the drive is hectic, Amys camp have said they have a room available for my dates but just wanted to know if there was anywhere better Cheers

We stayed at Freeline; awesome spot. The crowd at the point was a bit hectic at times, so ended up travelling north or south most days to get a little slice of uncrowded paradise.

Amy's is pretty central, and would be a good option. Mandiri beach club would be good too but might be a bit exxy. The owner is a good bloke though.

Imo a surf guide is a good investment here, or become friendly with some locals... a few secret spots to be had!
