Hi Everyone,

I have a very old board that has been sitting in the garage for wayyyyy to long. It has taken a couple of journeys out to the beach a long time ago and every time we ventured out I had people asking me to buy it.

Not knowing too much about surfing, I would love to know what it is worth roughly. I do know that Kevin Platt was an icon and I think this board deserves to be given new life and appreciation.

It needs to be restored sadly. The bottom end has split a little and there are a few marks over the board. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Kevin Platt had a shop just outside of Noosa. made boards and surf cloths way before stubbies and billy bongs.
Great board short actually i was sad when they shut down.
Found it hard to get good boardies after that... ahead of his time i suppose.
Think the market was flooded with cheap indo cloths (Sounds familiar)
i think a mates missus used to do sowing work for them.
Sad to see independents fail while corporates leach and thrive.
