Just bought some. Actually blood good. I am not usually someone into weights but these are easy to use. Better than dumbbells. Main aim is to help with paddle fitness.

Check Chris mills stuff on the inter web. All surfer specific. The shoulder clocks are the best exercise to try for paddling. Other than paddling.

And the kettlebell legend steve cotter , start and master the basics , and soon you will double snatching your way to those epic barrels we all dream of

i used to do resistance tubes workout for about 2 years, didn't notice any improvement.
then i just started general fitness things , you know, like lifting barbell, punching heavy bag, bike riding, 1K swimming once a week and that helps a lot.
i reckon i will buy a kettlebell too.

hi bento, what weight did you get ? i am 80 kg nearly 50 y o. i think getting 12 kg kettelebell for a start or should i go for more?

I would recommend a mixture of wide grip and close grip pull ups as well - really helps with paddle power
