If it is true...........

He's basically saying he took a drug so he can go all night that without it affecting his engery levels for the next day in the surf --> even tho, there are other surfers (who may even be in his heat the next day...) going back to their hotel and hitting up girls -going all night long that are not taking a engery increasing drug.... that is a fact unless all the girls are after just him but he said:

"They wait all year long for the Dream Tour guys to roll through town for Snapper. And once we do, they come at us two, three at a time, and they wanna go all night!"

So even he knows that he's not the only one with this dilemma, he was the only one who took an engery increasing drug to counter it because otherwise:

"Without me TeePee, I would not have had enough energy to surf my heats the next day."

But it's not......

i'm sure its partly true however. perks of being a world tour surfer ! ha
