looks like it, all dedicated quads as well not 5 finers except for one thruster.

In heavy barrelling waves maybe.

I imagine he's probably skipping the Sunset comp and just surfing Pipe - not going to be doing too many turns there...

+1 but i really like the easy speed down the line. Im not a amazing surfer though so it doesn't count

Love thrusters too, they are such a great improvement over the twin fin.

What's a quad?

Quads definantly can't be beat when it's hollow and still feels good on steep walls but thrusters still kill it when you need long drawn out bottom turns I reckon. Had quads in the quiver for a few years now but will still always have thrusters too. Horses for courses

Gone the other way - back to thrusters after a few years on quads. Have enjoyed the better hold I feel as opposed to the more 'skate'er feeling. The quad still has its place in certain conditions though!

Maybe we are just younger and have more time up our sleeves than the LB room oldies

I really don't understand this comment and all the green thumbs. There must be observers who watch, mock things and then a bang wagon of anonymous supporters are also join in silently. I don't get it. I almost never go on other rooms and if I do it is just for a look. If I didn't have something constructive to say I wouldn't mention it. If you don't have something to try and contribute why bother? The green thumbs puzzle me more, if one bloke thinks this... fine. But obviously a group of silent supporters want to bring things down too.
