I have a one way ticket into Denpasar and no real plans after that except a boat trip a week after I get there.. Will I have any trouble entering with no ongoing flight departing Indonesia?
Cheers...

Is this a guess? I'm looking for more than a guess.. Not being a smart arse but I'm hoping that someone has had experience or knows outright... I rang the consulate but keep getting something that sounds alot like Stephen hawking...

They won't let you in unless you have an outbound ticket.

Maximum length of stay in Indonesia is 60 days. Requests for Tourist Visas are submitted to the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra by filling out the appropriate forms (1 copy for each person) and enclosing:

6. Proof of a ticket in and out Indonesia, or a ticket to continue travel to another country.

I flew to Bali a couple of weeks ago and I was required to show evidence of an onward ticket by the airline (Air Asia).

I flew over in October and had no return ticket as I had messed up the dates and booked the return ticket for before my flight had even left Perth (sounds stupid I know but the flight out was booked 3 months before with different carriers each way). The only person who picked up on it was the girl at duty free. No problems getting a visa at Denpasar (i wrote my mates air asia return flight number) and just booked a return flight from Bali.
