As luck would have it, I'm going to be around Hosseger way for a few days next wee, but as I'm on the way home from work I have no board or wetty. Has anyone been over there at this time of the year? Anyone recomend board/wetty hire? I've done a bit of a google search for it but not much info out there unfortunately. I don't mind buying a second hand board (as long as its not a mal or a small dinghy) if needs be but would prefer to rent as I'm only there for 4 days.

Any info would be great

No need to stress,
Hossegor is surf central in France.
Lots of second-hand and decent hire boards when i was there. Je voudrais louer un surf sil vous plait is all you need to know.
There are a bunch of shops on the main street and others scattered around the place.
I'm sure there will be loads of pro's boards floating(pardon the pun) around.

Enjoy! Pumping waves, awesome food and booze and smoking hot French babes everywhere.

As per Stu's comment, no need for a wetty, just take a rashie or suit top for the wind chill.
