lol, go spend a morning watching the "surfers" out at iso's in Perth. This is pretty much the occurrence on every wave.

My brother lives in Perth and he describes the chaos over there daily. Glad I'm not in Perth :)

and it's not just Isos ... it's every break in Metro Perth when it's more than 2ft and a weekend ... which is why I never surf on a weekend.

So glad I live on the Sunshine Coast. We don't get the huge swells that you guys get but at least the crowds aren't so heavy. Most of the people in the water here can actually surf.

Huge swells in Perth? A 4m swell translates into 3' waves. Lol. 5 fathom bank, garden island, and rotto ensure we get no waves of size in the metro area....... Unless you have a boat.

OK got it... So Perth doesn't get sh-t but WA gets the monsters consistently... just not Perth :)

They should play this sort of stuff at the surf schools.

Id love to have some footage of when I first started kitesurfing,theres one windsurfer that I took out a couple of times on out of control speed runs,so glad I made it through that stage,we have a laugh about it now.Nothing as heavy as that though,gotta say that guy is tough thats gotta hurt.
