Not sure why the red thumbs... you can see it from West Coast Hwy... and there's about a billion people sipping lattes across the road. I surfed it 4 days in a row back in 1983 going right... and only once since then about 2yrs ago going left. It's just such a fickle wave... but it's hardly a secret spot.

The day that Maxted got those pics above there was three of us out just laughing our tits off at all the traffic flowing by. Mettams was awash with sups and mals burning each other and Triggs to Scarbs was mayhem.
