Haven't surfed one - but I really like the look of them. Especially the RTT twin fin. The prices for a PU are beyond reasonable also - $600.

I am in the market for a hybrid short board and GMC are on the list.

great board, very very good glass job on the PU..surfed mine for 6 months over the summer period and no pressure dings on the deck (amazing)
RT very similar to the Jim Banks fish www.jimbanksurf.com/surfboards_new.html JB probably the best fish you could buy..but not cheap

Gary good to deal with and had mine shaped/glassed in 2 weeks

Yep. I got a 6'3 Entity custom from Gary just before Christmas. I absolutely love it. He nailed the dimensions for me. It paddles well but still duck dives deep. No problem picking up waves in all but the real fat days. Mines a quad and I love the way it surfs but you can get them as a thruster as well. Gary's great to deal with. Mine took less than 2 weeks but he rushed it through for me so I got it before Christmas. It's my everyday all rounder that I ride in just about anything. I'm 75kg, 5'8 and 49 years old if that helps.

Thanks Th0m0, do you think getting his boards with the Stringerless Carbon rail is worth the extra $200? Is there much difference in feel to a traditional PU stringer'd board?

Tough call on the PU versus carbon. I went with the stringerless carbon because I'd never had one before and wanted to try it. It's definitely different but hard to explain how. I really like it and if money wasn't an issue I go carbon every time but It's kind of like fins, just because I like it doesn't mean you will.

Got a second hand 5'10" Rasta Alien model at Soul Boardstore. Near new carbon model with quad fins - $695.

Bit late to the topic but I got an Entity with the carbon rails about a month ago. Currently riding it as a quad.
Hands down the best board I've ever had and so far not even a compression on the deck. All my others by this stage looked like they'd been in a hailstorm.
As others say what I like might not be what you like but for me the board is great and has eliminated about 3 boards out of my quiver.
It surprised me by how narrow and refined it feels but still picks up ankle biter surf, and I can still throw it around in stuff that is overhead. Id be interested to see how it goes in DOH , I think it could probably handle itself just fine. There was a bit of an adjustment period as the shape is pretty different from a standard HPSB but after I got to know it it's been a blast.
