Hey Bobby i was a regular to the camp back in the early ninetys. i remember one year the govt was late giving approval for the camp to run that year and as a result no one could book. Then on the last minute they gave the nod. As a result we had 2 weeks in the camp at a discounted rate with about 10 other blokes in camp and close to the best surf I have ever seen. We stayed in tents ate fish most nights and struggled to lift my arms i was that tired from paddling all day.

It seems the camps have gotten more crowded over the years but hey I suppose thats the life and times of surfing in general. If any one is thinking of hitting the GLand frieght train go you'll love it.
