I brought some futures and I could only get the fins I wanted with the 1/2 inch tab, fit 1/2 inch box but my rear boxes are 3/4. So the question is will they fallout, should i shim them or something ( I can get shims from futures) or will they be fine just screwed in as normal. They seem to be alright so far just screwed in with a bit of chopstick under them as a shim.

normally the bigger boxes are for front foils and smaller boxes for trailers.


why are you trying to put small fins in the front???

Thanks, think katana was answering my fin topic, yeah they are controller quads, they seem ok with a shim under them, they actually make a shim for them so you can buy either size tab. The 1/2 inch boxes for quads were brought out later as some HPs are to thin in the tail for the 3/4 or so I was told.
