Hay all

I have some sideways surfboard warehouse boards ones a shane 6 4 fish another some 6 2 thruster im 175 cm 75 to 80 kgs begginer intermediate (never been in a barrell done a few lucky floaters take off sideways on largish faces bit of a bottom turn and still havent done a cutback or real top turn. Just starting to get carveing turns happening.

Anyways im noticeinf i really want the 6 2 thruster for duck diveing but i miss the ease of use for the big ass 6 4 fish so im looking at getting something in between the 2 as my first REAL surfboard (have had a string of second handys and funboards and foamys and stuff but never a $1k purchased surfboard)

Im leaning heavily towards the new mashup because of marketting tho ive been told by a surf buddy a year ago seasides the way for me to go i believe before mashup existed. Now im looking at 6 0 or 6 2 mashup ? ... or should i go the more standard tried and tested seaside 5 11 ??

I think the question asking where you live and surf is very valid and is extremely foolish to ignore
If you live in Perth it doesn't really matter what you ride given one foot backwash closeouts are the norm
If you surf the box or Nth point then a wide nose twinny isn't suitable
Get my drift.
And does it really matter how many countries you have surfed.
Maybe try chat to some local shapers or local crew
Good luck Voda

Pretty arrogant response to a very valid, if not the most valid question to consider when choosing a new sled..if you know so much why did you ask?

for the all of them waves id recommend a wind wing and a bodyboard - will cover most of your requirements.

Like Perths endless straight back wash close outs there's no magic potion
But seriously I'm double digits in the amount of times I expect to surf something half rideable
(Sorry I'm bored)
