Does it matter if englisch is my first language?
This topic was about the fact that I was simply looking for an egg shape.
Where is the problem with this simple question?
You should have just googled Egg surfboard then..
I just asked where you were so we could recommend a sharper or places to look.
It is one of the most common shapes made since the 70s. Wayne Lynch's evolution board is pretty much an egg.
Curve in the outline , wide usually round nose for easy entry, pin tail, a lot of surface area to trim over dead sections, beyond that each to their own. If it looks like an egg then it is an Egg.
I wouldn't say the Hypto is an egg, more Fish / Twin like with the nose entry / shape and the straight rails but very similar idea.
if you just want to buy on of the rack try any of the big boys, usually more a long board shaper type board so maybe start with the likes of Takayama, Mctavish, South coast, Beau Young Even Webber, CI, Lost have "eggs"
ECS, Surfboard warehouse or Sanctum have cheaper ones ( Glass is light though on the sanctum).
Here is a good place to start. This bloke makes a few that are eggish... and it shows the variety.
www.goddardsurfboards.com.au/. Just don't email him with stupid questions..
Just about every shaper does a model like an egg or based on the principal so i'd just google the **** out of it. You will see, different fins, different rails, different widths, different rockers, every shaper will do it a bit different so telling them what you want might cause more problems then it solves.
