Just been quoted $200 to remove and reset a Futures fin box on a Firewire board. Can any board repairers tell me if this is reasonable amount.

they are obvious thieves or to busy to do it absolute max if there is a lot of damage should be $90-$100 for a good job

Yeah, thats about the amount I was expecting. I've done some research, and I'm having trouble finding a board repairer down my way (southern suburbs) that wants to deal with a firewire board. Might just have to wear it.

Get on the freeway and head up to ossy park and visit katana. Or maybe clearwater somewhere near rocko? Don't they do epoxy?

Katana has done repairs on my firewire, top job and you don't get ya pants pulled down

No i found out you've got to pay extra for that service

You could give it a crack yourself. You can grab all the gear needed quite cheap, I managed to do this for just over $100.

To do it the first time is a bit of a set back but its cheap cheap anytime after.
