Just wondering if any Firewire Evo owners are a bit older and slower (like me) and riding a longer Evo for more volume.
I had and loved a truly magic 5'8" Tomo Vader but the was 7 years ago. I know they are designed to be ridden short as possible but can you get away with a longer EVO without losing maneuverability?
I'm worried about the wide point being if front of my stance and the continuous rocker pushing water.
Any thoughts?

I tried that experiment and it was just to stiff. Very fast, but stiff. As an older guy still riding SB's, I found a larger Twice Baked Potato to give me that paddling and groveling edge. Especially in Keel or Twin Fin mode.
