Anyone have an opinion of the floatation difference (if any) between the two? I'm trying to size up a new poly groveller to a 31ltr existing epoxy. Thanks in advance

I'd say about 35Lt...I've just gone the other way. I've been surfing a 34.5Lt PU & just bought a second hand 6'2 epoxy psychedelic germ by HS today. Board absolutely flys, paddles into waves so easy & I feel like this 30.8LT board floats just as well as the 34.5Lt one

Thanks mick. I ordered a 32ltr but with way wider nose and tail and flat rocker. Hopefully that's enough. I've got a 5'10" mini driver as my no 1 which is poly and 28.5litre, was figuring the extra 3.5lts would suffice. Fingers crossed;)

all depends on the density of EPS eg lower density more air content= more float
