Looking at the Reaper model from East Coast Surfboards any one know anything about them

Lots of good Asian pop outs these days though. May not last the duration, though mine is bullet proof, but lots of them are perfectly fine shapes. Many reputable brands get their boards made there too.

BMW source their engines from China.

Just because it's made in Asia isn't a prescription for crap these days.

Having said that, only two of my last 25 boards have been Asian pop outs. One is superb; the other is hands down the worst board I have surfed.
