Shall be heading down south this week. Is a steamer necessary? Am somewhat sensitive to the cold, but realise that the water temp is still above 21c so thinking perhaps a steamer is too warm. Thoughts?

Bit cool for shorts imo unless it's just an in and out surf. Wind chill on the day probably the biggest factor.

I'm still wearing my springy. Unless you are doing a dawny you you will be fine. I feel the cold too.
